Fitch ups India's growth forecast to 6.9% for FY26

With higher-than-expected growth in April-June quarter, Fitch Rating has upped India’s economic growth forecast by 40 basis points to 6.9 per cent. The agency also expects GST rate cut to boost consumption modestly.
